The Reef HOA

Richard Harpenau, Marlin Construction and Harpenau Realty, Inc. and Charles Soukup, Soukup Design Homes, Inc. proposed plans for The Reef project in 1991. The original proposal was for 30 lots, now known as The Reef Phase I.  Deed restrictions would ensure only top quality homes surrounded by native vegetation were built. To guarantee The Reef vision, Harpenau and Soukup recorded the Declaration of Protective Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for The Reef in 1993. This Declaration is the basis for our rules today. 

In 1996 The Reef was expanded to include what was initially planned to be a part of the Seascape development. This addition is referred to as The Reef Phase II (Lots 32 to 58). To provide access to Phase II, original lots 5, 6, and 7 were re mapped to form the current lots 5 and 6 and a new street named SE Bowsprit Court.
